Hello Kianna,
1. You should have your interests, your passion, and your talent(s).
2. You should follow your gut and listen to your heart, and believe and know yourself.
3. You should do what you are penetrated (with your major and interests). Trust me, you will have fun at the end. (Not everything you are afraid of, just find your major that you are not sure but you request to try).
4. If you have not experienced volunteering and/or internship, you must start with extracurricular activities: a club with projects, and/or volunteering. After one of those that you experienced, you should gain soft and hard skills as well as emotional intelligence.
I hope this helps

Hello, while I'm not sure what type of creative field you're interested in, my advice for those that may want to be freelance designers is to start your career working for an agency or design firm in your field first to get experience and establish a network. While you may ultimately want to be independent you will need to establish those professional contacts so that you can make sure you will be awarded jobs. Networking will be a key skill to have regardless of what career you decide to pursue. Best of luck!
