Mark’s Answer

As a sales representative, I enjoy the flexibility of dividing my time between my home office and traveling to meet my individual clients. My primary role involves ensuring that they have all the necessary information to effectively engage with my company. I dedicate a significant amount of time to communicate with them via phone, email, text, or face-to-face meetings, addressing their queries, assisting with any problems they encounter, reviewing their performance reports, and providing guidance on areas they could enhance.

When I'm not directly engaging with my existing clients, I'm actively seeking potential clients, making in-person visits to introduce my company and highlight our benefits, all in a bid to secure them as new clients. My typical workday starts at 7:30 am and wraps up around 6:00 pm, but I remain accessible beyond these hours when necessary. Being a sales representative offers an exhilarating, fast-moving job environment where each day brings a unique set of challenges and opportunities.

Hi Isabella,

Just to give you a little insight into my work routine - I'm a hybrid employee. This means I spend two days each week working comfortably from my home, and the other three days, you'll find me bustling in the office. My role in the mortgage industry involves a variety of tasks. On a typical day, I'm on the phone chatting with clients, going over documents with a keen eye, and troubleshooting any issues that might pop up. It's quite a dynamic job and there's never a dull moment!

Tara’s Answer

My day as it applies to the graphic design side of things can be me working in my home office in meetings discussing how to draw people to an event, page, etc. There is plenty of brainstorming and gathering information from the people whom I am creating graphics for. Plenty of internet browsing to see what has been done. Plenty of rough sketches to see what concepts works on paper before touching a computer.

Curt’s Answer

Most designers can work from home. I work in an office but my position is a bit different than most designers. Days are spent learning what the client/project needs are, usually through meetings. Next is working up ideas and concepts that are presented as roughs or sketches. There is a lot of back and forth to narrow down the design. After that a final design is created and submitted.
In my position now I am the only one in the division who does the graphic design work. At my last job I was on a team of 30, all working together closely to produce a final product, so it can really vary out there.
