Hi Julia, what kinds of skills do you want to gain? Or what skills do you already have and want to deepen?
If it's pure work experience, you can do a variety of activities in your local neighborhoods. I had some really great experiences babysitting, petsitting, cleaning homes, delivering papers (probably outdated now), etc. In my area junior high and high school students are getting work in washing cars, cleaning yards/weeds, washing house windows, etc. If you are really good at certain school subjects perhaps you can be a tutor to younger students. Good luck! =)
