Can someone help me figure out what major I need?

Hi, I don't know what I'm doing. I plan on going into broadcasting and digital media, specifically podcasting, however, I don't know what degrees I should get and how to get a job from this. Would broadcasting and digital media be my major? Side question, what college would be best for digital media production?

Hey!

I previously worked in the broadcast industry - both in TV & Radio.

You don't necessarily need college - if you want to get into podcasting, it can be simple as just starting a podcast or helping out someone with a podcast. Same thing with radio, get involved with your local community radio!

College or university is a fantastic path (I did this) ... but whatever you do, just GET STARTED! Start a course, start a podcast, help out with community - do something and you will heading on the right path!
