Being a caring person can help you in your future career by enhancing your awareness, build trusting relationships with your clients, and build up your character as a person.
Enhancing your awareness with enable you to see situations through other people's eyes. Meaning that you can empathize with their feelings, emotions, and see things from their point of view. For example some people might anxious about going through enclosed places which is a condition called claustrophobia. Some ultrasound procedures might require them to go inside the ultrasound machine which can trigger anxiety and fear. And by being aware of that fact you can help them
relieve their anxiety by redirecting them as needed. Moreover, people will trust you more when you a caring person because they know that you will care for them to the best of your abilities and advocate for them when needed. Lastly, being a caring person will build up your character by reflecting your practice through your character. Meaning that you can empathize with them and do no harm unto them; doing no harm means that you will practice according to your scopes of practice. And will not do anything that harm others. Additionally, you will be able to do the right thing when no one's watching.
