Hi Amparo,
Looks like you've got some great resources from the professionals above! With the rise of AI, I have found it to be a really neat and helpful tool to help prep for interviews. You can use a website like ChatGPT and enter a prompt such as "Ask me a mock interview question for [role you are applying to]" or "Pretend you are an interviewer for [Company]. Ask me an interview question". I think this can be a great resource because it will add an element of randomness, while also remaining relevant and accurate to the industry and roles you are interested in! I have always been someone who gets nervous practicing interviewing with friends or family, so AI has helped me a lot!
Wishing you the best of luck,
Alex

Hi Amparo, if you are looking to practice interviewing ChatGPT is free you don't even need to create an account. Just ask the prompt "I would like you to interview me for a job as a (add job title), ask me interview questions and rate my answers, I'd like to pretend this is a real interview"
It will ask you questions and you can respond and it will give you real time feedback, completely free.

Hi Amparo,
MeetAPro (https://www.meetapro.com) offers a broad selection of top-notch mock interviews at affordable prices. Feel free to explore it. I'll outline the distinctions between free peer-to-peer mock interviews and paid ones, and also give you a strategy for maximizing the benefits of mock interviews by embracing failure.
Mock interviews serve as one of the best methods to gear up for actual interviews. Both free peer-to-peer and paid mock interviews provide benefits, but comprehending their differences can guide you on where to best allocate your time and energy.
In free peer-to-peer mock interviews, you're typically matched with another job seeker, preferably someone with more experience than you. However, this poses a problem: it's tough to find a peer who can provide valuable feedback. If both parties are seeking someone more experienced, obtaining the necessary coaching becomes a challenge. Consequently, you're likely to pair with someone of a similar skill level, which restricts the quality of feedback you can receive.
On the flip side, paid mock interviews offer inherent quality assurance. Platforms like MeetAPro validate their interviewers by verifying their work history, making sure they're seasoned professionals. This simplifies the process of pairing with interviewers who have a wealth of experience conducting real interviews, even at the specific companies you're aiming for. The platform's built-in tools guarantee high-quality service, and its transparent review system gives you the assurance that you're getting excellent feedback.
To extract the maximum value from a paid mock interview, it's vital to have the right mindset. At MeetAPro, we've seen job seekers feel let down after receiving a "no-hire" rating, despite the beneficial feedback they received. Keep in mind, the goal of a paid mock interview isn't to get compliments—it's to pinpoint the areas you need to work on. Indeed, the most beneficial mock interviews are often the ones where you don't succeed. Failure provides the interviewer with the chance to give you honest, practical feedback, enabling you to fine-tune your approach before the actual interview.
MeetAPro's experienced interviewers have conducted numerous interviews and can swiftly identify your areas of improvement. By accepting failure as part of your learning journey, you motivate your interviewer to give frank feedback that will aid your growth. Ultimately, the real worth of a mock interview lies in its capacity to test you and reveal weaknesses, ensuring that when the actual interview arrives, you're thoroughly ready to excel.
