What are some worthy high-salary potential career paths for a student majoring in informatics with a concentration in "Interactive User Experience" and double minoring in business and artificial intelligence ?

I am currently a freshman in college, I know I want to go into a career path that somewhat combines all of these subject areas. But, just unsure on what that can even look like or what careers can be pursued. If someone who works with maybe at least 2 of these subject areas can help, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you.

Hi Ciara,

It sounds like you are off to a great start to having a successful career with that major and those minors! Those are all high-value skills to have when entering the workforce and could lead to a number of roles, however, my first instinct is that all of these skills would make for a great Product Manager!

Product Managers need an in-depth understanding of data, user experience, business needs, and AI. Product Managers need to be as literate in data as they are understanding and communicating the needs of your business. Also, user experience is a critical component to crafting interfaces that solve users' needs quickly and easily. Lastly, with how important AI today, having a robust understanding of how it works and how it can be utilized will be critical for any product manager role.

Rolando’s Answer

Sure thing! Here's a friendlier version of your text:

Hey there! Consider this - don't rush off to college until you're sure about what you want. Maybe take a year or two to work in a field that interests you. If you're thinking about becoming a Digital Marketing Specialist or a UX/UI Designer/Developer, you don't need a degree to get started. What's really important is having a solid portfolio showcasing your own genuine work, not just college assignments like most of the entry level applicants.
