Thank you for your question. I am glad to hear that you have interest in engineering. There are many streams in engineering, eg electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, manufacturing engineering, computer engineering, etc. Every stream has its own specific knowledge domain. Have you thought about which one you have interest?
Below are my suggestions:
1. Find out all the engineering streams and determine what you have interest
2. Attend information session hosts by engineering faculty of colleges. Speak to the professors and alumni if possible
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges

Engineering is such a vast and diverse field, and it could be hard to decided which branch of engineering is best for you. If you are not exactly sure which engineering discipline you are truly passionate about, I would recommend initially majoring in General Engineering. Just about everyone in engineering, regardless of major, take the same core classes in the 1st and 2nd years. This could provide you the time to decide and focus on the engineering discipline that best resonates with you.

One of the best aspects of a degree in most engineering disciplines is the versatility it provides. Just because you might get a degree in Aerospace Engineering does not limit you to working in just that field. I've known of a few AEs that worked in the automotive industry and I have classmates with ME degrees working for large aerospace firms.
