Rahul’s Answer

I would recommend taking classes in mathematics to understand numbers. Cooking requires an understanding of measurements/numbers. Also courses in biology and chemistry as well as nutrition. Being able to understand kitchen sanitation and safety is a must. Start off with a focus in culinary arts.

Gail’s Answer

You can start at a community college. Mine had a baking certificate and you could also major in culinary arts and become a chef. After that there are several schools where you can major in culinary arts. Start with the community college though. It costs less, you can do it in less time and you will figure out if this is really the right job for you.
