Hello!
I'd like to take a stab at answering your question. Are you looking for a virtual coach for a specific job? I would recommend targeting the specific industry that you are interested or remote jobs. Also, try to join some networking groups and forums.

Travis, I have good news for you !
You will not have to rely on a one dimensional career coach online because there are in person services that you can go to so the coach can get to know you personally and get a full idea of your educational and career intent and future ambitions. This is an awesome thing because if you have coaching online or through texting, it is just words and some of the depth of your concerns will be lost or overlooked.
To begin with, you could explore the Wabash Center at which they provide after school programs, activities, and personal services - in your case employment services. I have provided the link to their website for you below and they are located at 301 W. Wabash Avenue in Crawfordsville. If the Wabash Center isn't what you'd like, try Youth Employment Opportunity Program (YEOP). They have career coaches there and there is no fee for their services. Please ask your guidance counselor or academic counselor, social worker at school for the contact information for this service. Then there is always the Wabash Internships and Student Employment Program which you can also request information about at your school or a former school you attended. Having free, in person Career Coaching will be the best avenue to go down to receive full benefit from your meetings with a coach. Since it is free, you may want to consider it. You can also visit your Local Library to ask if they have employment services programs of any kind.
Check out Wabash County YMCA, too. They have an Imagine Early program to receive scholarships early. If you are a teen, they do have a Teen program at the Y and you can visit them in person and ask about if anyone there does Employment Services. So there really is a lot of opportunity for employment services out there and I have also left a link below for a list of county services that you can visit and inquire about employment services. By having career coaching in person, you will be able to get a heartier experience as things come up in person that maybe won't through texting or chatting online. Give it some thought so that you can start finding what you're looking for. Finding things does take some effort because the right connections and information just may not be online.
If you are definitely set on doing it online, use search engines to discover what you are looking for and be aware of any fees that they may charge you.
You can inquire about issues regarding school or career right here at Career Village as we support students through many different concerns or questions that they have. So do return here as well.
I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !

For finding an online coach, consider platforms like BetterUp or Coach.me. Both offer options for live, one-on-one chats with coaches who specialize in various areas, including career development. You might also explore LinkedIn for professional coaches or personal development groups, where you can find individuals offering coaching services. Additionally, websites like Noomii and Thumbtack allow you to search for coaches based on your specific needs and preferences. These platforms typically offer a more interactive experience than just text-based communication.
