What does a typical day consist of in the corrosion engineering field?

I would like to be a corrosion engineer when I graduate from college. I am asking this question because I am hopefully attending the University of Akron in the fall of 2017. I would like to see what the field is like before I dive right into it. #engineering #chemical-engineering #corrosion-engineering
