How does computer science work and would this be a good career for me ?

As someone who is planning to pursue neuroscience on the pre-med track, what are some things I should do in the summer after I graduate high school? I was thinking of getting a certificate so I can work and have clinical experience during my first year in college.

Kind of a silly question, but I really want to start doing research/passion projects for fun (outside of a classroom setting) and I'm not sure how to start/ get motivated.

I've noticed that every time I go on break I lose motivation. Despite having a lot of time to get things done I still procrastinate. How can I stop this?
