No one is absolutely good in everything, but one can be versatile or multi-gifted.

Construction and the Built Environment is for such ones in the construction sector.

In engineering, versatile persons can take Systems Engineering, Design Engineering and Industrial Engineering.

A versatile scientist can take Integrated Science or General Science or Physical Science.

A versatile artist can take Creative Arts which involves - Fine Arts, Filmmaking, Music & Media, Fashion, Language or Communication Arts and more.

You can consult your course counsellor for advice in curriculum and course design to meet your objectives.

Kira’s Answer

I recommend picking something you are passionate about and that has a stable job market for the next 20 years. If you like and are good at all subjects, something else to consider is how long you want to be in college for, if you want to go to grad school, and so on.

Denise’s Answer

Hello Linda,
Someone who excels in every subject has a wide range of career options available to them. The best choice depends on their interests, values, and long-term goals. Here are some career paths that might be suitable:

1. Medicine and Healthcare: If you have an interest in science and a desire to help people, careers in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, or biomedical research could be fulfilling.

2. Engineering: For someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, engineering fields such as civil, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering could be a good fit.

3. Law: If you have strong communication skills and an interest in justice, a career in law might be appealing. This could include becoming a lawyer, judge, or legal analyst.

4. Business and Management: With strengths in mathematics, communication, and strategic thinking, careers in business management, finance, or entrepreneurship might be rewarding.

5. Technology: For those interested in computers and innovation, careers in software development, data science, or cybersecurity could be a great match.

6. Education: If you enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge, becoming a teacher or professor could be a fulfilling career.

7. Science and Research: For those interested in discovery and innovation, a career in scientific research, whether in academia, government, or industry, could be ideal.

8. Creative Arts: If you have a passion for the arts, careers in writing, music, design, or film might be appropriate.

9. Environmental Science: With a growing focus on sustainability, careers in environmental science, conservation, or renewable energy can be impactful.

10. Public Service and Policy: If you are interested in making a societal impact, careers in public administration, policy analysis, or international relations could be attractive.

It's important for you to explore different fields through internships, volunteer work, or informational interviews to better understand what you enjoy and where you can make the most impact. Additionally, career counseling or aptitude tests might help in clarifying your preferences and strengths.

Best of luck to you in your future!
