Hi Mary!

My day as a designer varies based on the requests from my team. With experience in graphic design, illustration, and video editing, I work on a wide range of tasks that shape my workflow. Our small team—consisting of me, another designer, and our team leader—creates assets for a group of over 1,000 team members, which means we often juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines.

With that in mind, here are a couple of key tips:

Set clear expectations with your clients. Be upfront about your experience level and the time required for each task. If you're skilled in a particular area, you can deliver assets more quickly, while more complex or unfamiliar requests may take longer. Clear communication helps manage expectations and ensures clients understand the timeline and final result they can anticipate.

Maintain open communication. Clients appreciate being part of the process. Regular check-ins help ensure your design aligns with their vision, preventing major revisions down the line. Open communication also allows for transparency if a deadline needs to be adjusted, making it easier to collaborate and find solutions together.

Hope this helps!

Hello, I am happy you wonder how your lifestyle would be. Please choose by heart what you wish to do on life or what you want to work on. Having said that, artist life style can be very difficult as you may have to work during weekends while your friends and family get together, you may not have economic stability so you may have frustration feelings at some point. Nothing is for all life, so you can enjoy let's say 10 years as an artist, for the good and for the bad, and then maybe you'll discover you wish to continue for ever or change to another related stuff that makes you also feel happy at work. Be happy at work, enjoy what you do.
