David’s Answer

A great software engineer embodies the qualities of effective problem-solving, sharp critical thinking, and enduring patience. When faced with any challenge, it's crucial to apply your critical thinking skills to devise the most optimal solution. Your solution should not only solve the issue at hand, but also be easy to understand, maintain, and efficient in its operation.

Moreover, patience is a virtue that you'll find invaluable in this field. There will be numerous occasions where things don't go as planned - solutions might not function as intended, unforeseen bugs might crop up, or you might encounter basic technical glitches. However, maintaining your composure, thinking with clarity, and persistently working through these hurdles is absolutely essential. Remember, every problem is an opportunity to learn and grow. So, keep going and never stop improving!
