Side note…. If this class makes you happy and you enjoy cooking… continue to take the class. You will learn things that you can use for the rest of your life. Finding your passion in life is truly amazing! If you get a job along the way… that’s a plus!

George M.’s Answer

If food and cooking is your passion culinary school is a great start. Culinary classes will give you the foundation needed to be a great chef. Like in all careers look to continue your education. Look to compliment your culinary degree with business degree in hospitality, food and beverage.

Sidney’s Answer

Take all of the classes and opportunities you can, including fast food. Also if possible during your summer breaks set up jobs as apprentice, intern, and or temporary cook. Take the time to network throughout the school year, so by the time summer comes you should have opportunities lined up and/or great connections.
