Ashley’s Answer

This is not impossible but would advise to complete training needed one at a time. There are trade school options for becoming a pastry chef that involve opportunities and additional training that lead to jobs after completing the certification. As far as tattooing goes, typically there is an apprenticeship to start which leads into tattooing over a period of time with training and tools needed.

Wouldn't say its impossible but the hours for being a pastry chef usually are early morning. as a pastry chef I would work from 5am -7pm. usually tattoo artist have a night time schedule. I guess you just really have to make the scheduling work for you. Nothing is impossible if you want it bad enough.

Good luck.

Hello Emily, this is excellent question. If this is what you really want to do, then I don't feel like it would be too much for you. Although most people would not assume a pastry chef would also be a tattoo artist. I will say there will come a time when you're going to enjoy doing one more than the other it will be at that point you will follow the right path for you.

Hi Emily!

I wouldn't say that it's a weird mix at all. It's great that you have broad interests. As long as you do what you love and have a good balance, there's nothing impossible!

Hope you have a good day!!
