Hi Seth,
We have our next Gordon Ramsay! That's awesome!
Cooking practice would make a good start. You can gain confidence and skills in the kitchen by experimenting with recipes and techniques. Once you feel comfortable, consider seeking entry-level positions in culinary settings to further develop your practical experience. You could work in a restaurant, hotel, cafe, catering company, etc. This will be valuable when pursuing a culinary career. If interested, you could also start a food blog of your own creating recipes, or collecting them, and showcasing your skills in the kitchen.
If you're considering going to culinary school, remember to weigh the costs and time commitment. There are many chefs who have become successful solely through real-world experience, but continue to think about what you want and what's best for you.
