I always keep in mind that regardless of how busy it is, we will get through it. At the end of the day, we’ll go home with pride knowing we did the best we could and gave our customers a great experience. During the busiest moments, I always laugh and make jokes knowing that we’re all stressed but as a family/team we push through the hardest moments by ensuring we have the best service possible.

Stress impacts each of us in unique ways, and we all have our own methods of dealing with it. Discover what soothes your soul, brings tranquility to your mind, and helps you unwind. It could be anything from working out, taking deep, calming breaths, immersing yourself in music, enjoying your favorite TV show, sipping a warm cup of tea, or sharing your thoughts with friends or family. Seek out what helps you relax and shed off your stress, then make a conscious effort to incorporate it into your routine. Remember, it might require a few attempts to identify what truly works for you. Keep trying, and you'll find your stress-relief haven soon.

Hi, personally, I destress by reading a children's book. Losing myself in the simple worldview of a child for sometime relaxes me significantly.

The way I destress during a busy shift is by making jokes with people and listening to music basically trying to make the best of a stressful situation and to keep a positive mindset. No matter how stressful the shift is you have to keep pushing. Your mental health plays a big part of your performance inside and outside the kitchen.
