How can I, a marine engineer officer, transition from my current sea-based role to a shore-based career I am particularly interested in finding a remote job and would appreciate advice on which industries might be a good fit for my skills and experience.?
I have tried digital marketing, project management but cant figure out what is better for me. these fields or others.

For AWS courses on Udemy, I would say Stephane Maarek. He updates his classes regularly and is very active. For security plus, there is Jason Dion and Nathan House. Then Professor Messer outside Udemy. During holiday seasons, you can get good discounts on these courses.
In the industry it is usually, Experience > Certificate >= Degree. In some ways it is like a trade industry, where you have plenty of folks that come from coding boot camps or other industries. Former healthcare and liberal art folks for example go in this field for better pay. Competition is fierce for entry level roles, but senior or experienced roles there is more breathing room.
