Athens, Greece
Hi. I need some help regarding my portofolio and experiences.
I am an 11th grade student in High School who has hopes of studying Biomedical Sciences or Biology in general. How can I expand my knowledge on this field before graduating? I live in Greece, so taking AP courses or anything of the sort is not available in my country.
Masters immediately after undergrad or work experience first for a non finance related guy?
I'm a Political Science Major with an Economics Minor. The Finance sector interests me and I would like to work in it in the future, although I don't really know yet what fascinates me the most, maybe more of a financial analyst role. Should I get my masters in Finance immediately after...

What about when you graduate from a department that is not commercial & fashionable in your country, people who didn’t have the chance to study it are not able even to understand the meaning. This department/job is new & fresh to your country. So, if you love it you travel to another country that you know they will appreciate it & give you a professional position or stay to your country and start working to other places and you always connect it with your k knowledge you have?

I'm looking to either shadow a pilot or intern, but I wanted to know if their were any programs for wannabe pilots for High School students that I could join.

How difficult is it to keep yourself from becoming emotionally drained as a psychologist?
I have always been an empath, and I love nothing more than to talk people through their problems and help in any way I can. Sometimes, though, I find myself almost "absorbing" the negative emotions and energies in the people I'm talking with. I want to become a professional psychologist, most...
As a woman hoping to enter the field of neuroscience, what are the best ways to combat the idea that cutting-edge STEM fields are better suited to men?
As a future psychologist, neuroscientist, and/or neurobiology researcher, I am concerned about the male-centric views surrounding STEM fields. As a feminist, though, I won't let this deter me. I am only wondering how other women studying and/or working in STEM, especially in psychology or...

What can I do differently that can keep me on track for college graduation?
I'm a third year college student with a 1.73 GPA. Coming out of high school, I had a 3.97 GPA and was 11th in my class. I found out early that college was not like high school, and ever since second semester freshman year, I've had a hard time figuring things out. I took this semester off to...
How do I really know that a career is for me?
I guess this varies for each person, but recently, I've been questioning what exactly is 'right' for me. I get this gut feeling that something is right and that it's exactly what I want, but then I begin to pick at the negative things and then I convince myself that the career path isn't for...
How do I best prepare myself to not only be an effective, professional, and successful worker but leader?
I'm currently unsure of what exactly I want to do in the future, but I have a heart for at-risk, underrepresented, vulnerable populations, preferably somewhere out of the country. This, however, is a rather broad umbrella topic and I hope to find that career for me through various opportunities...
