A cool opportunity I recently found for food industry folks is with the company Reef Technology. They are up to a lot of things! A big business driver of theirs at the moment is the ghost kitchen model...it is certainly something to begin exploring! This is a big broad category with many options. If you like working on your feet, being active during a shift, and interacting with people it can be a great field! Food service jobs are usually separated into front of house (hostess, waiter, bartender, manager) and back of house (chef/cook, dishwasher, busser, food prep) in a restaurant setting. There are also careers in food delivery: UberEats/Grubhub, Amazon Prime/Grocery store delivery, Food distribution (Sysco), Warehouse (Making food in bulk and shipping to a grocery store or convenience store). There is also jobs doing catering, corporate food service, or food trucks. All of us need to eat, so there are a TON of opportunities.
