What kind of income does a head chef/sues chef receive and is it enough to provide for two adults Adding to that, is it enough money to live comfortably??
I'm a bit concerned about the money ill is getting as I know not everyone can be a sues/head chef right after getting a degree.

I won't lie. Starting out the money is not great. It is better today than in the past. But you have to have knowledge and experience to be able to move up and make good money. You should be able to make enough to live on. But that depends on your lifestyle and spending habits. You need to look at yourself first. Then look for a company that can help you get where you want to go. If your attitude is what can the company do for me? You will struggle. You have to look at it as to what can I do for or offer the company. and how much are they willing to pay me. If you prove yourself it should work out. If you want quick easy money you will be moving around a lot.

I think it is great to aspire to be a head chef. Certainly, you can work towards that goal. In general, it would be good for you to get a summer job at restaurant as a host or waiter. This will give you access to the kitchen, and you can ask the line cooks and others how they like their work and if it is enough of an income to live, as they would like. Keep in contact with the workers at the restaurant, so you can get a job once you finish culinary school. (Although you don't have to go to school first, you can try to get an entry level kitchen job and work your way through the process to get promoted. You can learn on the job.)
