For example, in Talent Development, there is the Association for Talent Development (ATD) or for Industrial Organizational professionals there is Society for Industrial Organizational Professionals (SIOP). I highly recommend researching organizations for the specific areas that you are interested in for additional resources and information.

As a recruiter, here are some of the tools that I've found useful to help organize and automate my day to day.

1) HubSpot - but I'm biased :) - you could use it as a CRM for candidate management if you don't have a formal ATS. It's a good tool to have in your tool belt as it teaches you how to use email marketing, campaigns, task management, meetings links for candidate interviews, and overall organization. 2) Asana - they offer a free version that helps you plan projects and stay organized

3) ChatGPT - helpful when trying to create content or messaging for sourcing candidates, drafting emails and helping get your ideas on paper

You can also search for these local organizations through LinkedIn where they may advertise for their events. Sometimes there are fees associated but networking opportunities are a great way to connect with individuals who are able to provide you guidance. Also, if you're a student, there may be discounted or waived fees. Hope this helps!

LinkedIn learning is a great tool but I'd say the more you do the job, learn about the roles you are recruiting for and spend more time looking in the market for candidates, your skills will grow naturally and you'll begin to create your own process that works for you. Every recruiter has a slightly different style and process unique to them.
