Is it really important to have a good GPA once I am looking for a job right after school?

As a 17-year-old senior who is planning on going to college soon, I have always wondered if my grades are more important or the research and internships that I do are more important. All through high school, my focus has been to get that A in all the classes and that's what I have been always trying to do (in order to get into a good school with good scholarship). However, once I get my bachelors or masters, is it really going to matter how I did during my college years academic wise or does the experience count as more important? (I want to be able to focus more on internships and research rather than homework and attendance) #internship #college #GPA #JobOpportunity
