Everything to know about a Veternarian Technician ?
I am looking into going towards becoming a vet tech as one of my career paths and would love to know any and everyone's experience on becoming and being one. What defines a vet tech? How can you become a Vet technician? What are the pros and cons? How long does it generally take to become a vet tech? Can anyone explain the terms of college when becoming one? Are there any degree minors I should take or consider? Do you recommend this career path to others thinking about it? Is becoming a vet technician generally recommended or does a specific person have to become one? What are tough decisions you have to make? Is there any possibilities to travel around the world as one? Let me know, I'd love to hear all about it!
Is there any pre courses you have to take in high school to be a vet tech ?
I am in gr 9, my school has literally next to nothing a lot of high school classes are online. I currently have 3 jobs and I’m keeping two until I graduate, both of them are quite flexible (one of them is cat sitting!!!) but i want to plan ahead.
How do you figure which college you want to attend if you have a lot of options ?
I am a high school senior and I still don't know what college to go to. I applied for a lot of colleges that have a veterinary technology program but I am still not sure which college to go to.
Hi, I’m just starting college in the Fall and I was wondering if there’s anything I should know before starting my part-time job as a veterinary assistant and my major in veterinary technology? Like any advice, tips, etc?
I’m starting college in Fall 2023. I won this private scholarship for this veterinary technology program and i get to work at this animal hospital as a vet assistant. I don’t start the Veterinary Technology program at my school just yet as there are prerequisite courses I have to take first in order to apply and get into this program. I’ve always loved animals whether their wild or domestic and I can’t see myself having a career that doesn’t involve helping or taking care of animals.
