Why is being a psychiatrist so mentally draining? do you still have time for yourself and your family? I plan on majoring in psych and am afraid of this.

I don't really know what I want to be yet and it has always been a trick question since I was a kid and I am still not really sure with it now but I do know I want to get higher education like university or collage but I have nothing really pushing me.

I want to find profitable careers in these majors that are not just being a therapist or psychiatrist. I am also wondering if I can have an art career on the side.

I'm thinking of majoring in psychology when I get into college. But, I don't know what jobs I could get with a psychology degree other than a psychiatrist. What jobs can I get with a psychology degree, maybe jobs involving more criminal psychology?

I know people who major in this and I always wondered what kind of job someone can get with a major in Women and Gender Studies.
