Thank you for your help but as many of these programs require you to be 16, it will be difficult for me to do anything now and was hoping that you could suggest any programs that I could do form the age range of 14-16. Anywhere in NJ or the mid-Atlantic states in general is fine. I was hoping that someone could provide me with a list of research programs and internships throughout nj possible in universities, labrotories or schools open to high schoolers. Currently, I'm a ninth grader who has tried to research these programs but has come to a stump as most of the programs I have research such as Rutgers require you to be 16 years old, however I'm still 14. For this reason, I was looking to see anyone else had any opportunities that they were willing to offer or were aware of. Thank you!

I'm curious whether there are programs that run during the school year as I have found cold emailing ineffective so far. I have emailed many professors and want to know whether there are more effective ways to get a mentor to work under for possible research projects that they are performing.?
