I have a BS in ChE (University of Wisconsin--Madison) and a PhD in Applied Chemistry (Caltech). I've taught at the college level (Carleton, Macalester, Hamline, and Caltech) and author a widely-used chemistry lab manual (Chemical Principles in the Laboratory). I do scientific instrument repair on the side (I love fixing things!).
