Hi, I'm a high school students interested in the medical field and I was wondering what are the various daily aspects included in radiation therapy? For instance, what skills do you use the most (applied mathematics and sciences)? Is the job emotionally taxing? What does daily life look like?

As a middle school student, I have been wanting to become a neurosurgeon for a long time. It is a strong desire of mine to help others. I am taking as many classes related to this career as I can once I get to high school, but I don't know what else I can do.

I'm a fairly busy person, but I really enjoy my free time and I am not the best at organizing my time. My schedule proves it greatly.

I'm not much of a competitive person and would rather avoid that stuff, but people say it's a very competitive field. This scares me since it's one of my biggest dreams.
