My college doesn’t offer interior design focused majors or courses. Would a concentration in Digital Design be a useful fit for this career field ?
I’m currently attending the City College of New York with a major in Art. The other concentrations offered to me among digital design were studio art, photography, and art education. I picked digital Design thinking it would be the best fit but I’m having doubts. I just want to feel confident in the college path I’m on.
How do I become an interior decorator?
How do I become an interior decorator? I’ve heard many ways of getting into this career. I have an art degree with an emphasis in design. I am working on building up my portfolio. I have a decent amount of projects to put into it. I am wondering if this is enough to apply for either internships or jobs. I am looking into online interior decorating programs but many seem as though they are not legitimate. I am not sure which one to choose.

What is the flexibility of a textile designer's schedule ( Up to how many Holidays and days off can one typically expect?)
I would like to be a textile designer and I've done a lot of research on it. However it can be sometimes difficult to find information on it as textile design is not one of the first things people think of for a career. Normally I get information for a fashion designer or interior designer. But these people's jobs are different from a textile designer's. However it's not unusual for textile designers to work with these sorts of people. Thus by asking professionals who may work closely with textile designers, I might get my question answered. So I thought it would be beneficial for me to try this website. #fashion #fashion-design #interior-design #interior-decorator #textiles
