Do all graduate colleges/medical schools accept AP credits?

Some of my course requirements were fulfilled using AP credits, like biology and physics. However, will these AP classes still be considered as fulfilling the requirements when I apply to medical or graduate schools? Or do they not count these classes?

Is there any difference between a university and a college?

I never knew the answer to this question. However, if there is a difference, I think a university would just mean having a bigger population and a college would be smaller? In other words, a university will obviously have more students and a college will have less. This is just something that...

How does one become a Research Scientist?

My actual plan is to make it through the Biology program at Case (Western Reserve University) and then be accepted into their Genetics Graduate program. Just in case that doesn't work, my back-up plan is a research Scientist in Biology. Problem is, I'm not sure how to become one! I'd...

How can I become recognized by a professor?

I want to go to graduate school and I know that schools require letters of recommendations from faculty members. I would like my future professors to be the ones to write the letters but how can I stand out to them? #college

How difficult is it to find a biomedical research job in the Silicon Valley?

I am planning to become a biomedical researcher, hopefully in California, and I'm aware that the bustle of the Silicon Valley companies provide lots of competition for finding a job. #biology #research #biomedical

Will Living in a Rural Community Decrease Chances for Success?

I live in a very rural community. Some people have said that they couldn't go to certain schools and colleges because people looked down on the school I went to. Others said that since my school has a lack of teachers and some of our classes are online, colleges don't like that either. However,...

Is it possible to put two partitions on a hard-drive and split the windows installation with a partition and use the other to store files?

I hear often that many schools and companies use a deep freeze and store their data on separate networks. So, I wonder if it would be easier to store and boot windows from a separate partition and use the other to store data. I wonder what issues this will cause, but I also wonder if this would...

For all STEM majors, what courses that were NOT requirements for graduation ddi you most benefit from?

I am a prospective STEM student. I wanted to get insight on not only core classes, but other classes some of you may have taken that had an impact on your personal life (not necessarily your major). I know college is expensive and taking extra courses may seem trivial to a focused student, yet...

Would I be looked down upon for majoring in physics rather than engineering?

My school was visited by a recruiter for a college, but they only have Physics. I know this school would fit me well, and it would be relatively inexpensive, but I don't want to not be hired due to my major being physics rather than a specific type of engineering. #engineering #college-major...
