Question about ADN program

I found that there are prerequisite courses for getting into the ADN program, does that mean I have to take pre reqs for freshman year at college, and then apply to the ADN course?

Which do you prefer, ADN or BSN program?

My goal is to be a NP, and I am now thinking about doing an ADN or BSN program. I'm feeling like going to an ADN because I heard that an ADN has a higher chance of getting in than a BSN. Also after finishing ADN, I thought I could take a RN-BSN program. One more reason that I thought going to ADN is because I'm afraid of not getting into a BSN program after taking all prerequisite courses. What do you think? Thank you.

Is it possible to apply for an ADN (take an online course) at the age of 17 and being a junior in highschool without a highschool diploma?

The course could be through a community college, but it needs to be online. My goal/thought process is to be able to do this and have my ADN around graduation of senior year so I can begin working in the field and gaining experience while then attaining my BSN. Is there another approach I should be taking instead? And can I even apply to a community college for an ADN without a highschool diploma since I am a junior.

Is it cheaper to get an ADN and then complete an RN to BSN program or just get a BSN?

I am thinking about getting my ADN and finding a job at a local hospital and then moving on to an RN to BSN program, if I get my ADN I can work in a hospital, gain experience and help pay for my RN to BSN program. Is that a good decision? #nursing #nurse #registered-nurses #adn
