How did you go about becoming a LVN?

Throughout my life, I've been around people who are nurses. As a little child, it made me fascinated with nursing and being a doctor. Helping people is my thing. When people are in need I like to volunteer to help individuals.

What are some Nursing-related jobs LPN's or RN's can go into that aren't directly related to patient care?

I love caring for people but I have a lower stress tolerance than most and think being in a high stress working environment would not be a great choice for me. I however don't want to be bored/not stimulated mentally. #nurse #LPN #LVN #RN #RegisteredNurse #nursing #healthcare #medical

Where can LPN/LVN's work?

I am under the impression most LVN's work in long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and mostly with the elder population. Are there opportunities for LPN's to work with other client populations? Where (else) can LPN's work? #pediatrics #nurse #LPN #LVN #nursing

Is it a wise choice to go into the LVN/LPN program?

I am asking this because I am having a hard time finding a job as a medical assistant in my area. The thing is that I know that some places are wanting nurses to have their BSN. So I am wondering if they are going to get rid of LVN/LPN jobs. So I'm not sure if it is good to get this certificate or not. Please help!! #college #nursing #lpn #lvn
