When graduated with an MBA or Bachelor's degree in any business field, is it more beneficial to work at a mid-level firm or large firm if you look to obtain enough capital from your job and then invest into starting your own entrepreneurial enterprise?
I look to graduate with a degree in marketing and would like a job at a sizable firm so I can make money, but once I have worked for 15 to 20 years in corporate industry I want to become an entrepreneur and start my own marketing agency to work with local businesses and eventually move my way up. Would working at a medium sized firm or a large firm be more beneficial for me in the long run to assist in building a business model and learning more about all of the functions of a business to run my own? #marketing #marketing-strategy #business-process #firm
How do I increase awareness of audiology to increase the reputation and respect that audiologists should receive as a Doctor?
Audiology is not well known and therefore people do not go see an audiologist, or if they do go see one, they don't stick around very long, have a hard time believing the audiologist and there is less respect for audiology as a fellow colleague. There is a stereotype that since A.uD's are not MD's therefore they are not as knowledgable or well-respected as an MD would be. The problem, in my opinion is that people don't understand what audiologists do, so how do we increase awareness/ gain the respect from others? #audiology #audiologist #medical-education #doctor #marketing #marketing-strategy #autonomy #respect

How do you identify what product you could possibly sell in a local market?
According to a little homework I've done, reading online about what it takes to become an entrepreneur, you don't need to have a fresh, or ground-breaking idea to become a rich entrepreneur (Wal-Mart, Starbucks). I would like to do something that correlates with my passion for all things good for people, the earth and animals (e.g. sustainable vegan coffee shop?). What are some tips for identifying local market needs (other than creativity)? P.S. I am located in the Greater Seattle Area! #business #marketing #entrepreneurship #business-development #marketing-and-advertising #marketing-strategy #start-ups #market-research

How can intuition be used in business?
Intuition is advanced pattern recognition while sensing is information that is only verifiable. I know business does require logic but it's also important to see the implications of an action and it's important to speculate. I watched a video about rational intuition and I think that idea could be useful in business. Rational information PLUS information that is formed based on speculations. #business #psychology #entrepreneurship #communications #networking #social-networking #marketing-strategy
