How do you intern/shadow at a law firm, especially as a high schooler?

I'm interested in shadowing or interning, but I feel that cold emailing isn't effective and most law firms or places don't really want to take in high schoolers?

what inspired you to do corporate law ?

Hi I am in 9 grade and I was thinking about going into corporate law. I have done swap meet justice, it is basically where we help people apply for citizenship and help them renew their residency. I wanted to ask you, how did you know you wanted to be a corporate lawyer, what school did you go to, what was your major, and what was job hunting like. was it hard finding a job as a corporate lawyer.

What organizations can I join (as a volunteer) to gain experience about the law?

I’m a high school student who wants to pursue law as a profession. I have all the extracurriculars, the grades, volunteer hours etc. But none of them are related to anything regarding the law. I know I can’t really do any internships in a law firm or anything of the sort but is there any non profits or other organizations I could reach out to in order to get any experience? Also any additional advise is appreciated

What are the best tips to know to become an assistant district attorney?

As embarrassing as this is for me to admit, I have no idea what to do past go to a good law school to get a job like this. Is it impossible to become one after graduating from law school recently (like within three years after having graduated from law school)? I assume experience is needed for a job like this so would working for a law firm or as a public defender (or even both) be the goal jobs before ADA? Any and all advice is welcome and the more specific, the better. Thank you. #law #women-in-law #law-practice

Other than samples of my writing, what is appropriate to be included in my portfolio and/or resume?

I am an adult-learner entering an entirely new field of employment. I am a paralegal student and am beginning to put together a portfolio. Samples of my writing will be included (case brief, legal memo, client letter, etc.), but I would like to know if it is appropriate for me to include other things, such as an email from my professor complimenting my quality of work, email indicating my inclusion on the school's merit list for academic excellence, and/or scholarship winner? If not included in my portfolio, what about on my resume? #paralegal #paralegals #law #women-in-law #resume #portfolio-management
