In your opinion, how difficult is it for recent graduates of a college or job training program to get hired in CA - not difficult, somewhat difficult, or very difficult?

Hi i'm a student at job corps taking culinary-arts since i enjoy cooking and wanted to learn more about it i know it be able to help me with cooking skills and what to do in the kitchen but will it help me get a job in a restaurant or just a fast-food place

How do I develop a collection of my own art to showcase in a portfolio? I am trying to get into the drawing/painting program at my school, but I'm not sure what type of work to put into my portfolio.
