Studying Abroad (From US to UK)
I'm currently a junior in high school, and I've recently started looking into colleges out of the US and there's a few that look amazing. I just want to know other peoples' opinions and experience, whether it's a good idea, how hard it is, what I should do in preparation, basic information about the UK education system, scholarships/finances, and really just anything you think is important. I really want to study animal behaviour/ethology and horse training. There are a few colleges in the US (Findlay, Centenary, Lake Erie, Emory & Henry, MSU, ...) but not only are they much more expensive, they also only have equine degrees. I've only recently thought about animal behaviour/ethology, so I haven't been looking into colleges for that in the US. But, in the UK, the first college I looked at (Hartpury) has so many majors that I would love to take (Animal Behaviour and Welfare, Equine Science, Equestrian Sports Coaching, Equine Behaviour and Welfare, ...). It also seems so much cheaper, and I'm kind of interested in living out of the US.
Is my GPA considered good?
Hello! I'm finishing my second year of highschool and I'm not very happy with my GPA. (In my country, we have a GPA scale from 1-5.) Both this and last year my GPA was 4.41 (/5) and I don't know if that's acceptable for Italian universities. I'd like to study Biology (either Marine Bio or Genetics), I'm in my school's Model UN club and I'm going to start volunteering in an animal shelter soon, but I can't help but worry my GPA will be the reason I get rejected for a certain uni...

Should I look more into pursuing my education in another country?
I don't have an EXACT major that I have in mind, but I do know the field I wish to go into, but there aren't many schools in the United States that have the education I'm looking for. I want to study mythologies/folklore, but there aren't many schools who offer this schooling in the US, but they do in Europe! Would it be better if I were to study over there or should I focus on finding something in the US? #career, #majors , #future , #studying-abroad
