What's a technique to look through every valid past activity and achievement to put into a college application? #Fall24

It's helpful to put activities and circumstances outside school into my college app, but I'm wondering about how to determine the validity of my activities and whether I should start from middle school (most active in outside school work) , or freshmen year.

What do you wish you had known about your position/the field before you started And what is a typical work day like??

As a current high school senior, I’m uncertain about which career path to pursue in, and with college applications approaching, I feel pressured to make a choice soon. I’d like to learn more about different fields to gain a better sense of direction before committing.

I have enough free time to be working on any skills related to mechanical engineering. Should I leave behind any extra-curricular that are unimportant to this?
