What should I choose as my major in college #Fall24?

I'm a junior in High school, super passionate about animal rights, vegan, and cofounded a related organization. I want to expand my organization through and after college, and hopefully make a living from it too. I don't want to do environmental science or biology, which I know seem related. I know money is something I need to think about, but my true real goal is to make the most amount of systemic change possible, in the movement to end factory farming. How do I make money while keeping animal rights campaigning at the forefront of my life? What should I do in college? Thank you so much!

How do I narrow down focus on a career if I want to work in environmental science but also study how to mitigate its effects on society (environmental justice)?

I am a rising senior in high school and I am trying to figure out where I should apply to college and what career path I should pursue. I know I have time to decide what major, but I feel the need to focus my activities and classes on a more specific topic so my effort can go further in helping people. I am involved in environmental activism and am passionate about saving the planet. #environmental-science #activism #socialjustice #policy #datascience #environmentaljustice #climatechange #environmentalengineer

What are some careers available in social justice and social activism for immigration? Do I have to become an immigration lawyer to help?

I'm currently a high school senior on my way to college. And immigration is a topic I'm passionate about. I'm very interested in pursuing a career in social justice that will improve and impact the lives of immigrants living within our country. I know that many people tend to pursue careers in immigration law. But I was wondering if there are any other careers outside of law that could help the cause. I'm not sure if I have what it takes to become a lawyer. I also love math and foreign languages. So, what would be a good language to learn if I were to go into immigration, besides Spanish? (I'm bilingual.) Thanks! #immigration #immigration-law #social-work #social-justice #foreign-languages #activism #activists #non-profit #humanitarian #human-rights rights

Will complete equal rights be granted to all colored people?

It is said that we are all equal no matter what. But, I don't understand why bias takes place in jobs and school selections. I was wondering if equal rights will ever be considered no matter what race one race is or their background. #race #race-equality #equality #activism #race-discrimination #ethics
