what would it take for a head chef to get their own restaurant and to transition into their own company

I am 20 years old and want to make a career in Baking or Pastry Arts. I enjoy baking for my friends and family and seeing the enjoyment when everyone tries my desserts. I'll like to start as a baker's assistant or something similar to that, so I'm able to get more experience before I branch off...

What made you want to become a chef working in a restaurant. Did you decide to do it for the love of food or for a deeper meaning.

What part of being a chef brings the most joy is it the art of making the meal for an individual or is it a much larger aspect.

When you start your career how does the day typically start?

I'm trying to explore these fields and looking for universities in the US that offer these programs

I will graduate in May 2023. I've been looking around for accounting internships in my local area and remotely, without much success. If I'm unable to secure an internship, should I get a part-time job, or should I do something else?
