How to get a 100% remote cybersecurity job as a fresh college graduate? How to develop those skills and I have 0 years of experience
Hi everyone, I’m Vidhi, and I’m about to graduate from OSU Ecampus with a degree in Computer Science. As we all know, the job market is tough right now, especially for fresh graduates without strong industry experience. I’m very interested in securing a 100% remote cybersecurity role since there are no tech companies near me, and I prefer not to relocate. I understand that referrals and LinkedIn networking are key, but I also want to build the right skills and earn certifications that will make a strong impression on recruiters and increase my chances of getting hired. Any advice on the best skills to focus on or the most valuable cybersecurity certifications for entry-level roles? Which is better hackthebox or tryhackme. Are they even worth it? Do recruiters care?

Hi! I'm confused between two major fields. How do i choose what to pursue?
Hi ! I am nearing the end of my degree in computer science in college and im quite confused on what path to take. I don't enjoy development but these days cybersecurity interests me however it is very technical and I'd need further specialization before i get a job in it. On the other hand, i took a ui-ux elective and i find it rather appealing. Now im confused. which path to take? what would suit me more and where would i fit in with my skillset? how do i decide that? I love solving puzzles and the mystery and allure that comes with cybersecurity yet at the same time, the humanization and creativity outlet in ui-ux is also very very appealing.

Is it too late to do cs research as a junior in high school?
I am a junior in high school and only recently found out that research with a professor was an extracurricular activity. Since it is already halfway into the year and I am a junior, could I also reach out to a professor and do this or is it too late? I found some paid programs during the summer that do research but take up the entire summer and I would have no time to do other programs. Is there any way to reach out to a professor and ask to do research with them from now or feb/march to until school ends? If there is, how many professors should I be emailing and how should I ask them to do it from now or feb/march to until school ends? Also, are there any requirements/skills that these professors look for in regards to cs research? Thanks a bunch!
